Mr. Fabio Cordella will give a presentation that will explore the wines of Salento (IGP), located in the southern Italian wine region of Puglia. Explore some of Fabio Cordella Cantine’s wines with a presentation and tasting.
Salento. Where the horizon line changes without ever disappearing completely and the sea breeze perfumes the air. The red earth, wheat fields, forests, lakes and underground caves are symbols of a land that gives way to charm and legends.
Roussillon is a unique French wine region surrounded by the Pyrenees Mountains and the Mediterranean sea, nested between France and Spain. In this class, you will discover the region’s patchwork of terroirs and typical local grapes, producing 7 families of AOP wines – the highest density of AOP in France. Roussillon’s treasure is its Fortified Sweet Wines (Vins Doux Naturels), but the region produces all types of wines, including red, white, rosé, dry, sparkling and Fortified Sweet Wines. The presentation will be followed by a tasting of three wines: two dry (white and red), and one Fortified Sweet Wine.
Join Mr. Jiangsong Wang, the CEO of China WineMedia, who will explore Chinese wines, which continue to grow in interest. The seminar will cover the history of Chinese wines, wine terroir in China, principle grape varieties and the export and sale of Chinese wines in other countries. The presentation will be followed by a tasting of a selection of Chinese wines.
A long-cultivated wine region located north of Lyon in France, Beaujolais is an area known for the production of the Gamay grape and the sale of its Beaujolais Nouveau wines, among other things. Attendees of this master class – hosted by Mr. Minyoung Yoo, the Ambassador for Beaujolais wines to Asia – will discover the wines of Beaujolais by learning about the region’s principle grape variety, the terroir, and the 10 Crus of Beaujolais.
